Agusta A119

The AgustaWestland AW119 Koala, a single-engine utility helicopter initially produced by Agusta for the civil transport market, has a fascinating history. In the 1970s, Agusta proposed developing an extended version of the A109 model, but these plans were discontinued. However, in 1994, following the company’s recovery from financial struggles, the design was revisited and eventually went into production in 2000 as the Agusta A119.

Powered by a Pratt & Whitney PT6B-37A engine and featuring retractable landing gear, the Agusta A119 maintained the same cockpit and cabin as the A109. It proved to be a more affordable yet efficient and reliable aircraft compared to its predecessor, becoming a success with ongoing productions to this day.

Red Box is delighted to offer an extensive range of ground power equipment designed specifically for the Agusta A119 aircraft. Our offerings include tugs, ground power units, start power units and more, perfectly suited to the unique requirements of the A119.
