Bell 206L-3 Longranger

The Bell 206 family encompasses two-bladed, single- and twin-engined helicopters, meticulously crafted by Bell Helicopter. Originating from plans conceived in response to a United States Navy request on behalf of the Army for a light observation helicopter in October 1960, Bell’s submission of the D-250 design for the proposal (potentially designated as YHO-4) faced competition from 12 other manufacturers but did not secure the winning title. Unfazed by this outcome, Bell proceeded with the production of the aircraft, rebranding it as the Bell 206A JetRanger. One notably significant variant is the Bell 206L LongRanger, an extended 7-seat version of the aircraft, with later variants incorporating more powerful engines.

Red Box is delighted to present an extensive array of ground power and support equipment for this aircraft, encompassing tugs, ground power units, start power units and more, meticulously tailored to meet the requirements of the Bell 206L-3 LongRanger III aircraft.

Our offerings include the popular RBPS50 continuous power unit, ideal for diagnostic work, pre-flight checks, or continuous equipment powering during operations without depleting the onboard aircraft batteries. The RB50A is recommended for starting the aircraft, aiding in avoiding hot starts.
