Bell Ah-1 Cobra

The Bell AH-1 Cobra is a single-engine helicopter manufactured by Bell Helicopter and intended for warfare use. The design for the AH-1 Cobra was derived from Bell’s infamous UH-1 Iroquois, which was a member of the Huey family, however the protoype was a modified Bell 209. The new AH-1 Cobra was developed with fixed skids, a wide-chord rotor blade, while also moving the tail rotor to the right side of the helicopter to enhance performance. The Cobra also had a plexiglass canopy to reduce the overall weight, with some further changes to come after the AH-1 Cobra entered service in several country’s army.

Red Box is pleased to offer a great range of ground power and support equipment for this aircraft, including tugs, ground power units, start power units, aviation tools, and more, which are perfectly suited to the requirements of the Bell AH-1 Cobra aircraft.
