Bombardier (Business) Challenger 600

The Bombardier Challenger 600 series is a family of long-range business jets, designed by Canadair, later taken over by Bombardier Aerospace in 1986 when the company aquired Canadair. The twin-engine design for the Challenger received a number of new introductions to the previosuly envisioned airframe from 1977, including a T-tail replacing the previously used conventional tail, a widened fuselage, supercritical wing with NACA symmetrical airfoil. To power the aircraft, twin Lycoming ALF 502L engines were utilised at first, which sere subsequently substituted with more improved engines in newer models. The Challenger 600’s cabin featured an excessive amount of facilities, which eminently made the business jet highly attractive to the corporate market, with over a thousand models sold by 2018.

Red Box is pleased to offer a great range of ground power equipment for this aircraft, including tugs, ground power units, start power units and more, which are perfectly suited to the requirements of the Bombardier Challenger 600 aircraft.

This includes the 757 CFBO-NJ tug, and the RBC8045 GPU Frequency Converter.
