Columbia 400

Nowadays known as the Cessna 400, the Columbia 400 was the initial model of the aircraft, built by Columbia Aircraft. The Columbia 400’s main use is in the civil transportation sector. Derived from the Columbia 300, the 400 was powered by a Continental IO-550-C engine and had a glass cockpit and speedbreakers installed. The Columbia 400 received exceptional reviews in the mid-2000s, however, at this time, the series was already owned by Cessna.

Red Box is pleased to offer a great range of ground power equipment for this aircraft, including tugs, ground power units, start power units and more, which are perfectly suited to the requirements of the Columbia 400 aircraft.

This includes the 701D tug, and the RBPS50 continuous power unit, which is ideal for diagnostic work, pre-flight checks or for continuous powering of equipment during operations, without draining the onboard aircraft batteries. We also offer a combination of start and continuous power in one unit for the Columbia 400 aircraft in our TC3000 range.
