DeHavilland Dhc-6-100

The Viking Air DHC-6 Twin Otter, previously identified as the De Havilland Canada DHC-6 Twin Otter, stands out as a 19-passenger utility aircraft celebrated for its Short Takeoff and Landing (STOL) capabilities. The origins of this aircraft line trace back to 1964, evolving from designs rooted in the preceding single-engine DHC-3. Gaining popularity across diverse sectors, including medevac transport, commuter passenger or cargo airliner, and frequent use in skydiving operations, the success of the DHC-6 Twin Otter can be attributed to its fixed tricycle undercarriage, twin Pratt & Whitney PT6A-20 turboprop engines, and impressive rate of climb. The very first model in this line was the DHC-6-100, also referred to as the Series 100.

Red Box is pleased to present an extensive range of ground power equipment tailored for the De Havilland DHC-6-100 Twin Otter aircraft, encompassing tugs, ground power units, start power units and more. These offerings are precisely crafted to meet the specific requirements of the DHC-6-100 Twin Otter.

Included in this range is the 717 tug, and the RBSC150 continuous power unit. The RBSC150 unit is well-suited for diagnostic tasks, pre-flight checks, or the sustained powering of equipment during operations, all without depleting the onboard aircraft batteries. Additionally, we provide a combination of start and continuous power in a single unit for the De Havilland DHC-6-100 Twin Otter aircraft within our TC3000 range.
