Diamond Aircraft DA20-A1

The Diamond DA20 A1 Katana is a two-seat light aircraft introduced in 1993, primarily utilized in flight schools. Initially named DV20, the model incorporated several features from the preceding Diamond HK36 Super Dimona. To meet the aircraft’s demand in North America, production was shifted to a Canadian facility, prompting the rebranding to DA20. The DA20-A1 designation was assigned to the initial models built in Canada, featuring a Rotax 912 powerplant, with the first production model introduced in 1999. This model’s design, characterized by a composite material construction, follows a single-engine, low-wing, and T-tail configuration, providing exceptional visibility through its bubble canopy, making the DA20-A1 an ideal choice for flight training.

Red Box is delighted to present an extensive range of ground power and support equipment tailored for this aircraft, including tugs, ground power units, start power units and more, precisely meeting the needs of the Diamond Aircraft DA20-A1.

This selection includes the 701D tug, the RBPS25 continuous power unit, ideal for diagnostic work, pre-flight checks, or continuous equipment powering during operations without depleting the onboard aircraft batteries, and the RB25A for starting the aircraft, helping to prevent hot starts. Additionally, we offer a combination of start and continuous power in one unit for the Diamond Aircraft DA20-A1 in our TC3000 range.
