Diamond Da20-C1

The Diamond DA20 C1, introduced in 1993 and widely adopted by flight schools, is a two-seat light aircraft. Initially named DV20, the model incorporated features from the earlier Diamond HK36 Super Dimona. To meet North American requirements, production was transferred to a Canadian facility, leading to the model’s renaming as DA20. The Diamond DA20 C1, also known as Katana Eclipse, enjoyed success in the market, with subsequent improved variants. Powered by a 125 hp Continental IO-240 engine, the DA20 C1 featured a relocated battery to create additional space for the engine. While earlier Katana models had simple hinged flaps, the DA20 C1 adopted more sophisticated slotted flaps to enhance stall speed.

Red Box is delighted to present an extensive range of ground power equipment for this aircraft, including tugs, ground power units, start power units and more, meticulously tailored to meet the specific requirements of the Diamond DA20 C1.

This selection includes the 701D tug, and the RBPS25 continuous power unit, ideal for diagnostic work, pre-flight checks, or continuous equipment powering during operations without depleting the onboard aircraft batteries. We also offer a combination of start and continuous power in one unit for the Diamond DA20 C1 in our TC3000 range.
