Embraer E190 (ERJ-190)

The Embraer E-Jet family constitutes a series of narrow-body twinjet commercial airliners crafted by Embraer. Opting for a clean-sheet design, Embraer introduced the EMB 170 as the inaugural model, choosing this approach over further evolving their ERJ 145 to create the new 70-seat EMB 170 jetliner, later designated as the E170. This design featured a twin-engine arrangement with General Electric CF34-8E powerplants, employing a “double bubble” format to accommodate a stand-up cabin. The E190, an upgraded and re-engined iteration of the E170, was propelled by twin General Electric CF34-10E engines with Full Authority Digital Engine Control (FADEC). With seating for up to 114 passengers in a comfortable cabin, the E190 emerged as a robust contender against aircraft such as the Bombardier CRJ-1000, Boeing 717, or the Airbus A318.

Red Box is delighted to provide an extensive array of ground power equipment tailored for this aircraft, encompassing tugs, ground power units, start power units and more, meticulously designed to meet the specific requirements of the Embraer E190.
