Eurocopter Ec130

The Eurocopter EC130, now designated as the Airbus Helicopters H130, stands as a single-engine light utility helicopter crafted by Eurocopter. In the 1980s, Aérospatiale aimed to enhance and produce a modernized version of their AS350 Écureuil. One of the notable changes involved adopting a Fenestron anti-torque device in place of the conventional tail rotor utilized in the AS350. The cabin space was expanded by widening the fuselage, creating a more comfortable seating area for passengers. The EC130 also incorporated various safety features for enhanced reliability, including flight data recorders. By 2008, the EC130 had surpassed aircraft like the Bell 206, experiencing increased sales in the subsequent years.

Red Box is delighted to offer a comprehensive range of ground power and support equipment for the Eurocopter EC130 aircraft, encompassing tugs, ground power units, start power units and more.

Our offerings include the RBPS50 continuous power unit—an excellent choice for diagnostic work, pre-flight checks, or providing continuous power during operations without depleting onboard aircraft batteries—and the RB50A for starting the aircraft, minimizing the risk of hot starts. Furthermore, our TC3000 range provides a combination of start and continuous power in a single unit designed specifically for Eurocopter EC130 aircraft.
