Eurocopter Ec665 Tiger

The Eurocopter EC665 Tiger, now under Airbus Helicopters, stands as a twin-engined attack helicopter manufactured by Eurocopter and entered service in 2003. The need for an advanced multirole battlefield helicopter was announced by the French and West German governments in 1984. To meet this requirement, Aérospatiale and MBB joined forces to collaboratively develop a new aircraft. However, due to political and financial challenges in the subsequent years, the project was relaunched in 1987, with a renewed focus on enhancing the aircraft’s anti-tank capabilities. The finalized design of the Tiger boasted several qualities beneficial for military operations, including the ability to operate under harsh weather conditions and various configuration options.

Red Box is delighted to offer a comprehensive range of ground power and support equipment for the Eurocopter EC665 Tiger aircraft, including tugs, ground power units, start power units and more, perfectly tailored to the specific requirements of this helicopter.

Our offerings include the 717 tug, the RBSC100 continuous power unit—an ideal solution for diagnostic work, pre-flight checks, or providing continuous power during operations without depleting the onboard aircraft batteries—and the RB75A for starting the aircraft, minimizing the risk of hot starts. Additionally, our TC3000 range provides a combination of start and continuous power in a single unit designed specifically for Eurocopter EC665 Tiger aircraft.
