Eurocopter Sa365 N2

The Eurocopter AS365 Dauphin, also recognized as the Aérospatiale SA 365 Dauphin 2, stands as a medium twin-engine helicopter that was initially developed and manufactured by Aérospatiale. It became a part of Eurocopter during the 1990s. The AS365 Dauphin 2 proved to be a more successful direct derivative of its predecessor, the SA 360 Dauphin, which faced challenges in market sales. Recognizing the need for a twin-engine rotorcraft better suited to military and civil requirements, the company commenced the development of a version equipped with a pair of Turbomeca Arriel turboshaft engines. The SA 365 exhibited significantly enhanced performance in high ambient climates and at higher altitudes compared to the previous model. A subsequent variant introduced into the family in 1990 was the SA 365 N2, an improved performance version utilizing a single upgraded Arriel 1C2 engine, along with a redesigned cabin configuration.

Red Box is delighted to present a comprehensive range of ground power and support equipment for this aircraft, including tugs, ground power units, start power units and more, perfectly tailored to the requirements of the SA 365 N2 aircraft.

This offering includes the 709 tug, the RBPS50 continuous power unit—ideal for diagnostic work, pre-flight checks, or continuously powering equipment during operations without depleting the onboard aircraft batteries. Additionally, the RB50A is available for starting the aircraft, aiding in the prevention of hot starts. Our TC3000 range further provides a combination of start and continuous power in a single unit specifically designed for SA 365 N2 aircraft.
