Fairchild Dornier Dornier DO328 Jet

The original Dornier 328, a twin-turboprop commuter airliner, was developed and manufactured by Dornier Luftfahrt GmbH. The creation of the Do 328 was prompted by market research conducted by the firm, revealing a demand for a quiet, easy-to-maintain airliner capable of higher speeds. Dornier designed a short-haul regional aircraft with retractable landing gear to operate from unprepared runways, powered by twin Pratt and Whitney PW119C engines. Subsequent research conducted after the Do 328 entered service indicated a greater market desirability for a turbofan variant. The original model underwent slight modifications and was fitted with Pratt & Whitney Canada PW306/9 engines, leading to the introduction of the Dornier 328JET in 1998.

Red Box is delighted to present an extensive range of ground power equipment for this aircraft, including tugs, ground power units, start power units and more, perfectly suited to the requirements of the Fairchild Dornier 328JET.

This offering includes the 747C tug, and the RBC8060 GPU Frequency Converter.
