Hindustan Dhruv (Aka Advanced Light Helicopter)

The HAL Dhruv, a utility helicopter named after the Indian mythological character Dhruv, meaning ‘unshakeable’ in Sanskrit, has been in service since 2002. It was meticulously designed to meet the requirements of both military and civil operators. Positioned above the cabin, the twin turboshafts drive a four-blade composite main rotor. Notably, the main rotor is manually foldable, featuring blades mounted between carbon-fibre-reinforced plates, while the rotor head is constructed from fiber elastomers.

Red Box is delighted to present an extensive range of ground power equipment tailored for the HAL Dhruv aircraft, encompassing tugs, ground power units, start power units and more. These offerings are perfectly aligned with the specific requirements of HAL Dhruv aircraft.

Our offerings include the RBSC225 225A continuous power unit, ideal for diagnostic work, pre-flight checks, or continuous powering of equipment during operations without draining the onboard aircraft batteries. Additionally, we provide a combination of start and continuous power in one unit for HAL Dhruv aircraft in our TC3000 range.
