The hugely popular Pilatus PC-12 has achieved the award for the best-selling pressurised single-engine turbine-powered aircraft in the world for a number of years and, according to figures towards the end of 2019, a total of 1,700 PC-12’s had been manufactured and delivered around the world.
The aircraft, which has a cruise 528 km/h (328 mph), a maximum take-off weight of 4,740 kg, and a fuel capacity of 1,226 kg, is often compared to the Cessna Denali, although the Denali is not expected to take to the skies until 2020 at least.
From a ground power equipment perspective, we would highly recommend the RB60A start power unit, which can provide up to 3 starts, whilst the 717 tug and RBSC100 continuous power unit also perfectly meet the requirements of the single-engine turboprop Pilatus PC-12.
