Piper Super Cub Pa18

The Piper PA-18 Super Cub is a single-engine light utility aircraft. In spite of the name Super Cub, the aircraft was mainly based on the predecessing PA-11, while also deriving some aspects from the original J-3 Cub and Taylor E-2. Aspiring to provide enhanced perfomance compared to the earlier Cubs, Piper installed an uprated Lycoming engine at 150 hp, later swapped to 160 and 180 hp Lycoming variants, the first aircraft went to production in 1949. Today, most PA-18 Super Cubs are utilised in roles such as bush flying or banner and glider towing.

Red Box is pleased to offer a great range of ground power equipment for this aircraft, including tugs, ground power units, start power units and more, which are perfectly suited to the requirements of the Piper PA-18 Super Cub aircraft.

This includes the 701D tug, and the RBPS25 continuous power unit, which is ideal for diagnostic work, pre flight checks or for continuous powering of equipment during operations, without draining the onboard aircraft batteries, and the RB25A for starting the aircraft, helping to avoid hot starts. We also offer a combination of start and continuous power in one unit for the Piper PA-18 Super Cub aircraft in our TC3000 range.
