Sikorsky Sh-60 Seahawk

The Sikorsky SH-60 Seahawk is a twin turboshaft engine, multi-mission maritime utility helicopter, introduced in 1984. The SH-60 was derived from the UH-60 Black Hawk, hence the two share several aspects. The newly developed SH-60 Seahawk was modified to facilitate for a variety of roles, with the most notable change being installation of a folding main rotor and a hinged tail. The Seahawk was able to land and deploy from any air-capable frigate or ship, proving to be an excellent anti-submarine helicopter. It could also accomodate for a series of warfare, including anti-surface and naval special warfare, and was available with configurations such as medevac, search and rescue or combat search and rescue. The SH-60 Seahawk remains in prodcution to this day.
