The organisers of Aero Friedrichshafen contacted Red Box International 10 years ago to show their interest in Red Box International supplying their continuous power supplies for the aircraft that were on display at the show. Since then they have been able to exhibit there every year.

To really display and sell their products, the aircraft manufactures will give customer demonstrations on the interior of the aircraft. This includes instrument panels, GPS systems, lighting and many other technologies on board the aircraft. Without an external continuous power supply none of these interior demonstrations would be able to go ahead and the aircraft could not achieve its full potential.

Preparation begins two months in advance to ensure all the units are ready to be transported down to the show. Red Box International usually builds in excess of 60 ground power units to ensure that they can offer power to customers that may have forgotten to pre-order their ground power unit.

Every year Red Box International will exhibit their products at the show with a small team on site to deliver and connect the units to the various aircraft. The team is also available to show customers how to work the power units if they are unfamiliar. Red Box International has the pleasure of working with many different types of aircraft from gliders to small business type jets.

Red Box will once again be on hand at this year’s Aero Friedrichshafen. Not only will be offering more ground power units than ever, they will also be displaying impressive collection of Aviation tool kits. A new service this year will mean you can have your tools scanned, etched and imbedded into 2 colour foam.

The team look forward to seeing you there April 18th – 21st, 2018, at the Messe Friedrichshafen GmbH, Neue Messe 1, 88046 Friedrichshafen, Germany.
