The Boeing Business Jet (BBJ) series consists of various variants derived from existing Boeing jet airliners, designed as luxurious business jets for the corporate aviation market since 1999. Many BBJ models are based on the 737 series, featuring new cabin configurations and other minor structural modifications. The BBJ2, the second addition to the series, was based on the 737-800 model, utilizing most of its original features while introducing facilities such as a bedroom, shower room, living room, and a dining/conference room in the re-envisioned cabin. The BBJ2 aircraft were equipped with a luxurious interior, featuring gold accents and leather seating, garnering popularity in the corporate market and exceeding predicted sales numbers.
