Boeing DC-8 Series 60

The Douglas DC-8, a narrow-body airliner manufactured by Douglas Aircraft Company, made its debut in 1958. Douglas initiated the project after facing defeat in a previous competition against the Boeing KC-135 in 1955. The DC-8, directly stemming from the aircraft proposed for that competition, rapidly gained popularity upon the commencement of deliveries. Subsequently, the DC-8 Series 60 was introduced, featuring the initial model in the line, the DC-8 Series 61, which underwent several modifications. Although designed for higher capacity, the Series 61 initially sacrificed range. However, subsequent developments in the Series 60 addressed and rectified this limitation.

Red Box is delighted to present a comprehensive range of ground power equipment tailored for this aircraft, encompassing tugs, ground power units, start power units and more, all meticulously crafted to meet the specific requirements of the Douglas DC-8 Series 60 aircraft.
