Daher-Socata TBM-700

The Socata TBM Model 700 is a single-engine, light utility and transport aircraft, initially developed by Socata, while today it is manufactured by Daher. The concept of the TBM 700 model was based on a former low-powered prototype, the Mooney 301. The French companies Mooney and Socata had begun co-developing a new design based on the Mooney 301, drafting a plan for an augmented turboprop aircraft, with great focus on speed, reliability and performance. The concept was perfected towards the end of the 1980’s, designated as the TBM 700. The TBM 700 is considered aerodynamically advanced, with the executive decision to introduce a tricycle landing gear to the aircraft’s design playing a great part in this. To further appeal to the aviation market, the TBM 700’s interior was of a luxurious finish.

Red Box is pleased to offer a great range of ground power and support equipment for this aircraft, including tugs, ground power units, start power units, aviation tools, and more, which are perfectly suited to the requirements of the Socata TBM 700 aircraft.

This includes the popular RBI9400T mechanic hand trolley case complete with 161 BAHCO tools, the 709 tug, the RBPS50 continuous power unit, which is ideal for diagnostic work, pre-flight checks or for continuous powering of equipment during operations, without draining the onboard aircraft batteries and the RB50A for starting the aircraft, helping to avoid hot starts. We also offer a combination of start and continuous power in one unit for the Socata TBM 700 aircraft in our TC3000 range.
