Daher Socata TBM 700

The Socata TBM Model 700 stands as a single-engine, light utility, and transport aircraft, originally developed by Socata and presently manufactured by Daher. Its inception was rooted in a former low-powered prototype, the Mooney 301, with the collaboration between French companies Mooney and Socata. They embarked on co-developing an enhanced turboprop aircraft, emphasizing speed, reliability, and performance. Perfected in the late 1980s, the result was designated as the TBM 700, known for its aerodynamic advancements. The decision to incorporate a tricycle landing gear significantly contributed to its advanced design. The interior of the TBM 700 was crafted to exude luxury, further enhancing its appeal in the aviation market.

Red Box takes pride in offering a comprehensive range of ground power and support equipment tailored for the Socata TBM 700 aircraft, encompassing tugs, ground power units, start power units and more.

Our offerings include the RBPS50 continuous power unit—ideal for diagnostic work, pre-flight checks, or continuous powering during operations without depleting the onboard aircraft batteries. Additionally, the RB50A is available for starting the aircraft, minimizing the risk of hot starts. For the Socata TBM 700 aircraft, we also provide a combined start and continuous power unit within our TC3000 range.
