Leonardo (AgustaWestland) A109S

Introduced in 2005, the AW109S Grand is a nimble, twin-engine helicopter manufactured by AgustaWestland, now under Leonardo, based on the A109E aircraft. Stemming from the AW109 family, the helicopter was designed to create a civilian variant for utility purposes. The AW109S Grand was developed by extending the fuselage and cabin of the AW109 and incorporating a different type of rotor blade to enhance performance. Powered by two Pratt & Whitney PW207C engines, the aircraft continues to be in production and has gained popularity in the civil transport and medevac sectors since its announcement.

Red Box is delighted to offer an extensive range of ground power and support equipment tailored for this aircraft, including tugs, ground power units, start power units and more, all meticulously suited to meet the specific requirements of the Leonardo A109S Grand aircraft.

This offering includes the RBFLT25 electric tug, the RBPS50 continuous power unit, ideal for diagnostic work, pre-flight checks, or continuous powering of equipment during operations without draining the onboard aircraft batteries, and the RB50A for starting the aircraft, helping to avoid hot starts. Additionally, we provide a combination of start and continuous power in a single unit for the Leonardo A109S Grand aircraft in our TC3000 range.
