Lockheed C-130

The Lockheed C-130 Hercules, a four-engine military aircraft, was developed in the early 1950s and entered service in 1956. Lockheed aimed to present an aircraft to meet the U.S. Air Force’s need for a cargo transport aircraft with enhanced capacities. The C-130 was specifically designed for takeoffs and landings from unprepared surfaces or runways, and its adaptable airframe allowed for modifications to suit various military operations, leading to its swift success. In addition to its original purposes for troop transport, medevac, and cargo operations, the C-130 and its variants were deployed as gunships, airborne assault aircraft, and maritime patrol planes.

Red Box is delighted to offer an extensive range of ground power equipment for this aircraft, including tugs, ground power units, start power units and more, all meticulously suited to meet the specific requirements of Lockheed C-130 aircraft.

This offering includes the RBFT C250-800 electric tug, and the RBC8090 GPU Frequency Converter.
