Sabreliner 40 Series

The North American Sabreliner, later known as the Rockwell Sabreliner, stands as a mid-sized business jet developed by North American Aviation. The design was put forth as a proposal in response to a requirement outlined by the United States Air Force, and the resulting military variant was named T-39A. The initial civilian series received the designation Sabreliner 40, boasting a spacious cabin and powered by General Electric JT12A turbojet engines. The marketing variant Sabreliner 40A also featured a lighter avionics package.
