The PZL M28 Skytruck is a light cargo and passenger plane with short take-off and landing capabilities, produced by PZL Mielec in Poland. The PZL M28 was as a development of the license-built Antonov An-28 aircrafts. Once PZL Mielec took over the project the aircraft had gone through some design changes, the aircraft had new Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A powerplants and modernised avioinics installed, and had also received the Skytruck designation. The all-metal airframe, and fixed landing gear was retained in the low-wing monoplane configuration. The M28 Skytruck was optimised for STOL capabilities, and was primarily utilised for transport and patrol roles after productions commenced in 1993.
