Aero 45 & 145

The Aero 45, a twin-piston-engined aircraft produced in Czechoslovakia after World War II, boasts a design reminiscent of the Siebel Si 204. The model number “45” corresponds to the 4/5 seats available in the aircraft. Featuring a teardrop-shaped fuselage with a rounded nose, the Aero 45 showcases a low wing with engine nacelles, and a conventional tail. While the main undercarriage is retractable, the tailwheel remains fixed.

An additional variant, the ‘145,’ sees modifications to the engines, now supercharged Motorlet (Walter) M332, later produced as Avia M 332s. This version, developed and built by Let, witnessed the production of 162 aircraft between 1959 and 1961.
