Agusta Westland Westland Aw189

The AgustaWestland AW189 is a twin-engined, medium-lift helicopter manufactured by AgustaWestland, now Leonardo S.p.a. The AW189 is derived from several preceding models, primarily based on the AW149, while also sharing similarities with the AW139 and AW169. The finalized design was primarily intended for civil utility aircraft, incorporating advanced avionics and a unique main gearbox feature designed to provide a 50-minute run-dry capacity. The AW189 is powered by two General Electric CT7-2E1 turboshaft engines.

Red Box is delighted to offer an extensive range of ground power and support equipment for the AgustaWestland AW189 aircraft. This includes tugs, ground power units, start power units and more, perfectly suited to the requirements of the AW189.

Our offerings for the AW189 include the 747C tug, the RBSC225 continuous power unit, ideal for diagnostic work, pre-flight checks, or continuous powering of equipment during operations without draining the onboard aircraft batteries. Additionally, the Twin RB75A is available for starting the aircraft, helping to avoid hot starts. We also provide a combination of start and continuous power in one unit for the AgustaWestland AW189 aircraft in our TC3000 range.
