Airbus Helicopter (Eurocopter) BK-117

The Eurocopter EC145, now recognized as the Airbus Helicopters H145, stands as a twin-engine light utility helicopter developed and produced by Eurocopter, initially introduced in 2002. This aircraft evolved from the BK 117 C1, incorporating elements from its predecessor, the EC135. The redesign of the EC145 aimed at achieving improved range, heightened payload and passenger capacity, and diminished noise and vibration. It features composite rotor blades and is powered by enhanced Turboméca Arriel 2E engines.

Red Box takes pride in presenting an extensive array of ground power and support equipment meticulously crafted for the Eurocopter EC145 aircraft. Our offerings encompass tugs, ground power units, start power units and more, all precisely tailored to meet the unique requirements of the Eurocopter EC145.

Among our featured products are the popular RBPS50 continuous power unit—ideal for diagnostic work, pre-flight checks, or continuous equipment powering during operations without depleting the onboard aircraft batteries—and the RB50A for starting the aircraft, aiding in the prevention of hot starts. Additionally, we provide a combination of start and continuous power in one unit for the Eurocopter EC145 aircraft through our TC3000 range.
