Airbus Helicopter (Eurocopter) UH-72A Lakota

The Eurocopter UH-72 Lakota, a twin-engine military helicopter, is based on the Eurocopter EC145 and was developed in response to a program announced by the United States Army. The program sought a light utility helicopter to replace the aging fleet at the time. The original UH-145 variant won the competition and was subsequently re-designated UH-72 in 2006. The UH-72 has been utilized in various roles, including support missions, medevac applications, and counter-narcotics operations. The initial version, UH-72A, has seen further development into various variants.
