The original Beechcraft 1900 is a twin-engine, fixed wing aircraft, designed for mainly regional use, as well as for freight and corporate transport, manufactured by Beechacraft. The 1900 was developed based on the predecessing King Air. The 1900 C was the very first variant in the line, and while the original design featured two sets of airstairs, this was eliminated to be replaced with a large cargo door, this allowed for easier loading of cargo. Later serial numbers in the line also featured wet wing fuel system, allowing for increased fuel storage, and hence longer range.
