After the triumph of the Baron 58, the Beechcraft 58P Baron made its debut in 1976, introducing turbocharged engines and a pressurized cabin to the line. This innovative design enabled the aircraft to achieve a cruising speed ranging from 200 to 220 knots, while preserving the comfort features and expanded luggage capacity of its predecessor. Both the Beechcraft 58P Baron and its counterpart, the 58TC, received certification under FAR23 with a new type certificate.
