The Beechcraft Premier I is a light business jet aircraft, manufactured by Beechcraft. Beechcraft indtended to develop an aircraft that coud compete with the Cessna CitationJet series in the market. The design was first established in 1994, however the Premier I did not enter service until 2001 due to a delay in development and productions. The Premier I was constructed of composite materials, and was powered by Williams International FJ44-2A engines. It also features a wide cabin aimed to provide more comfort to passengers, however Beechcraft had not managed to keep noise at low levels. The aircraft’s perfromance was not up to par, leading to an upgrade in 2006, as the Premier IA.
