Bell 206B

The Bell 206 encompasses a family of two-bladed, single- and twin-engined helicopters manufactured by Bell Helicopter. Originally conceived in response to a United States Navy request on behalf of the Army for a light observation helicopter in October 1960, Bell submitted the D-250 design for the proposal (potentially designated as YHO-4). Despite facing competition from 12 other manufacturers and not securing the winning title, Bell persevered with the production of the aircraft, rebranding it as the Bell 206A JetRanger. The subsequent variant, 206B, incorporated more powerful Allison 250-C20 turboshaft engines.

Red Box is delighted to provide an extensive range of ground power and support equipment tailored for this aircraft, including tugs, ground power units, start power units and more, perfectly aligned with the requirements of the Bell 206B aircraft.

Our offerings include the popular RBPS25 continuous power unit ideal for diagnostic work, pre-flight checks, or continuous equipment powering during operations without depleting the onboard aircraft batteries. Additionally, the RB50A is recommended for starting the aircraft, contributing to the prevention of hot starts.
