Bell 206B3

The Bell 206 comprises a family of utility helicopters with both single and twin engines, developed and manufactured by Bell Helicopter. Originally conceived as a response to a U.S. Army requirement for a light observation helicopter, the design didn’t secure victory in the competition. Subsequently, Bell positioned the aircraft in the commercial utility helicopter market, designated as the 206A JetRanger. This new model featured an enlarged and more sophisticated fuselage design to accommodate a spacious cabin for passengers and baggage/cargo. Interestingly, the JetRanger was later chosen by the U.S. Army for their observation and reconnaissance helicopter, designated OH-58 Kiowa. Another iteration in the 206 family was the Bell 206B-3, equipped with an enhanced Allison 250-C20J engine and a larger tail rotor to enhance yaw control.

Red Box is delighted to present an extensive range of ground power and support equipment for this aircraft, including tugs, ground power units, start power units and more, precisely tailored to the requirements of the Bell 206B-3 aircraft.

Our offerings include the popular RB50A start power unit, and the RBPS25 continuous power unit, ideal for diagnostic work, pre-flight checks, or continuous equipment powering during operations without depleting the onboard aircraft batteries.
