Bombardier (Regional) CRJ700

As a part of the Bombardier CRJ series, the CRJ1000 stands out as a regional jet airliner crafted and produced by Bombardier Aerospace, now known as Bombardier Aviation. Initially introduced as the CRJ-X project, the series commenced with the CRJ700, a model derived from the CRJ100 and CRJ200 jets through fuselage and wing elongation. Subtle modifications, including a redesigned horizontal tailfin, were implemented to enhance aerodynamics. The CRJ700 boasted a seating capacity of up to 66 passengers, along with improved range performance compared to its predecessors. Responding to market demands, Bombardier pursued further enhancements to increase passenger capacity.
