Bombardier (Regional) Dash 8-200

The Bombardier Dash 8, previously known as the De Havilland Canada DHC-8, stands as a series of turboprop regional airliners introduced by De Havilland Canada in 1984. Emerging from the foundation laid by its predecessor, the Dash 7, the Dash 8 was meticulously developed with improved performance. In the early 1990s, De Havilland proposed the DHC-8-200, incorporating minor modifications to the existing aircraft in the line. Similar to the Series 100, the DHC-8-200 maintained a seating capacity of 37-39 passengers, utilizing the same airframe as its predecessor. However, this new model featured Pratt & Whitney PW123 engines to further enhance its performance.
