Cessna 206 Stationair

Cessna 206 Stationair Ground Power Equipment by Red Box AviationThe Cessna Stationair family consists of the Cessna 205, 206 and 207, all of which aircrafts are single-engine, with fixed landing gear. Although the Stationairs’ was intended to be used in general and personal aviation, they rapidly became widely used as bush planes, in use for nature photography/filming and other utility purposes. The Cessna 206’s production commenced in 1964, with the design based on the predecessing Cessna 210, and had utilised a Continental IO-520-A piston engine. The Cessna 206 had gained popularity due to its larger clamshell rear door allowing for easy loading of various sized cargo.

Red Box is pleased to offer a great range of ground power equipment for this aircraft, including tugs, ground power units, start power units, aviation tools, and more, which are perfectly suited to the requirements of the Cessna 206 Stationair aircraft.

For moving the aircraft, we strongly recommend the 701D tug, which is capable of moving 2,000kg / 4,500 lbs and is fully collapsible for compact stowing.

When it comes to power, you cannot beat the RB25A start power unit. This unit charges in less than two hours from 50% and provides 1200A at 12v.
