The Cessna 310 is a twin-engine, low-wing monoplane. The Cessna 310 has been developed with a modern, more sleek design, as well as an innovative aspect such as the instalment of augmenter tubes for the engine exhaust thrust. In 1969 Cessna introduced several variants of the 310, one of which, the 310F was the base for creating the Cessna 320 Skyknight. The Skyknight was installed with larger piston engines, and featured an additional cabin window on each side. Productions began in 1961, and lasted until 1969, while also introducing further variants in the 320 family in years to come.
