The Cessna CitationJet (CJ, Model 525) series comprises light, twin-engine business jets developed by Cessna as part of the Citation family. The inaugural model, the Cessna CitationJet (Model 525), was unveiled in 1989 at the NBAA in Atlanta, and its maiden flight occurred in 1991. Key design features included a pressurized cabin, supercritical wings, and a T-tail. Powered by two Williams FJ44 engines with EFIS avionics, the aircraft showcased advanced technology. A subsequent variant, the CJ2+, achieved improved performance through advanced avionics and two Williams FJ44-3A-24 turbofan engines. It also featured an extended fuselage compared to previous variants, enhancing passenger comfort.
