Introduced in 1994, the Cessna Excel (Model 560XL) is a midsize business jet, utilising Pratt & Whitney Canada JT15D5A turbofan engines. It’s first upgraded variant, the Cessna Citation V Ultra has been announced in 1993, powered by the more advanced Pratt & Whitney Canada JT15D-5D and featured Honeywell Primus EFIS avionics. The Citation V Ultra was named the “Best Business Jet” by Flying magazine in 1994.
Red Box is pleased to offer a great range of ground power equipment for this aircraft, including tugs, ground power units, start power units, aviation tools, and more, which are perfectly suited to the requirements of the Cessna Citation V Ultra aircraft.
To move the aircraft easily, we recommend the 747C tug. This gas powered tug can move aircraft up to 35,000 lbs and makes it easy for one person to manuever aircraft quickly and safely in tightly stacked hangars or staging on the ramp.
When it comes to start power units the RB75A Twin is advised as it provides 3500A at 24v, whilst it also fully charges in less than two hours from 50%.
