DeHavilland Dhc-6-200

The Viking Air DHC-6 Twin Otter, previously recognized as the De Havilland Canada DHC-6 Twin Otter, stands as a 19-passenger utility aircraft renowned for its Short Takeoff and Landing (STOL) capabilities. The genesis of this aircraft line can be traced back to 1964, evolving from designs rooted in the preceding single-engine DHC-3. Gaining popularity across diverse sectors, including medevac transport, commuter passenger or cargo airliner, and frequent use in skydiving operations, the success of the DHC-6 Twin Otter can be attributed to its fixed tricycle undercarriage, twin Pratt & Whitney PT6A-20 turboprop engines, and impressive rate of climb. The subsequent DHC-6 -200 models have undergone minor modifications, including enhancements to STOL performance, an extended nose for additional luggage storage space, and the incorporation of a larger rear door.

Red Box is pleased to present an extensive range of ground power equipment tailored for the De Havilland DHC-6-200 Twin Otter aircraft, encompassing tugs, ground power units, start power units and more.
