DeHavilland Dhc-6-300

The Viking Air DHC-6 Twin Otter, formerly the De Havilland Canada DHC-6 Twin Otter, stands as a 19-passenger utility aircraft renowned for its Short Takeoff and Landing (STOL) performance. The inception of this aircraft line dates back to 1964, drawing inspiration from the preceding single-engine DHC-3. Gaining popularity across diverse sectors, including medevac transport, commuter passenger or cargo airliner, and frequent use in skydiving operations, the success of the DHC-6 Twin Otter can be attributed to its fixed tricycle undercarriage, twin Pratt & Whitney PT6A-20 turboprop engines, and impressive rate of climb. The 300 series, initiated in 1969, featured Pratt & Whitney PT6A-27 engines, contributing to improved performance and payload capabilities.

Red Box is delighted to present an extensive range of ground power equipment tailored for the De Havilland DHC-6-300 Twin Otter aircraft, encompassing tugs, ground power units, start power units and more.
