Diamond Aircraft DA40 Diamond Star

The Diamond DA40 Diamond Star, introduced in 2000, is a single-engine, light aircraft designed as a four-seat iteration of the preceding DA20 model. The initial DA40 was equipped with the Lycoming IO-360 M1A engine. To streamline production, the decision was made to relocate the production of all Lycoming-engined variants to Canada, with the Austrian factory focusing on the diesel-engined variant. Featuring a fixed tricycle landing gear and a T-tail, the Diamond DA40’s design contributed to its success, boasting a remarkably low accident record. Its accident rate is only a fraction of the statistics for other aircraft in general aviation, attributed to the DA40’s high aspect ratio wing, low wing loading, and benign flight characteristics.

Red Box is delighted to present an extensive range of ground power and support equipment for this aircraft, including tugs, ground power units, start power units and more, meticulously tailored to meet the specific requirements of the Diamond Aircraft DA40 Diamond Star.

This selection includes the 701D tug, the RBPS25 continuous power unit, ideal for diagnostic work, pre-flight checks, or continuous equipment powering during operations without depleting the onboard aircraft batteries, and the RB25A for starting the aircraft, helping to prevent hot starts. Additionally, we offer a combination of start and continuous power in one unit for the Diamond Aircraft DA40 Diamond Star aircraft in our TC3000 range.
