Enstrom F-480

Introduced in 1993, the Enstrom 480 light helicopter was crafted by the Enstrom Helicopter Corporation. The genesis of this model was triggered by an announcement from the United States Army, outlining the need for a turbine-powered helicopter dedicated to flight training. Responding to this, Enstrom Helicopter Corporation extended its 280 Shark model, incorporating a Rolls-Royce Model 250-C20W turbine engine. Despite the initial setback of not securing a contract with the US Army for the newly designed TH28 helicopter, the commercial version of the aircraft was eventually brought into production under the name Enstrom 480 in 1993.

Red Box is thrilled to present an extensive range of ground power equipment tailored for Enstrom 480 aircraft. Our offerings include tugs, ground power units, start power units and more, perfectly suited to the specific requirements of Enstrom 480 aircraft.

This selection encompasses the 701D tug, and the RBPS25 continuous power unit, designed for diagnostic work, pre-flight checks, or continuous powering of equipment during operations without depleting the onboard aircraft batteries. Additionally, our TC3000 range provides a combination of start and continuous power in a single unit for Enstrom 480 aircraft.
