Eurocopter As532

The Eurocopter AS532 Cougar, now recognized as the Airbus Helicopters H215M, is a twin-engine, medium-weight, multipurpose helicopter that was introduced in 1978. Developed as a derivative of the Aérospatiale SA 330 Puma, the AS532 was specifically tailored for military operations. The original civil model, the AS332, featured twin Turbomeca Makila 1A1 turboshaft engines driving a four-bladed main rotor and a five-bladed tail rotor. It also boasted a versatile cabin space available in various configurations. Aérospatiale expanded on this platform to create the AS532 Cougar variant, offering increased payload or passenger space.

Red Box is delighted to provide an extensive selection of ground power and support equipment for this aircraft, encompassing tugs, ground power units, start power units and more, perfectly aligned with the requirements of the Eurocopter AS532 aircraft.

Our offerings include the 747C tug, the RBPS50 continuous power unit—ideal for diagnostic work, pre-flight checks, or continuous powering of equipment during operations without depleting onboard aircraft batteries—and the RB50A for starting the aircraft, mitigating the risk of hot starts. Additionally, our TC3000 range provides a combination of start and continuous power in a single unit tailored for Eurocopter AS532 aircraft.
