Eurocopter Ec-135 Ti

The Eurocopter EC135, now designated as the Airbus Helicopters H135, represents a civil light utility helicopter crafted by Eurocopter. Initially developed by Messerschmitt-Bölkow-Blohm under the Bo 108 designation, it served as a technology demonstrator based on the Bo 105. This new design introduced innovative aerodynamics and the pioneering hingeless rotor. The prototype took its inaugural flight in 1988, and after a brief hiatus in plans, it was designated as the EC135 in 1994. The EC135 officially entered service in 1996 and found application in emergency response and military flight training. It was also utilized for corporate transport and offshore wind support. The EC135 T1 variant marked the introduction of Turbomeca Arrius 2B1 engines, leading to an increased Maximum Takeoff Weight (MTOW).
