Eurocopter Ec135 Pi

The Eurocopter EC135, now known as the Airbus Helicopters H135, is a civil light utility helicopter manufactured by Eurocopter. Initially developed by Messerschmitt-Bölkow-Blohm under the Bo 108 designation, it served as a technology demonstrator based on the Bo 105. The new design incorporated innovative aerodynamics and the pioneering hingeless rotor. The prototype took its inaugural flight in 1988, and after a brief hiatus in plans, it was designated as the EC135 in 1994. The EC135 entered service in 1996 and found application in emergency response and military flight training, as well as corporate transport and offshore wind support. The EC135 P1, the first variant in the series, was powered by Pratt & Whitney Canada PW206B engines and equipped with CPDS.
