Eurocopter Sa365 – 3 Dauphin

The Eurocopter AS365 Dauphin, alternatively known as the Aérospatiale SA 365 Dauphin 2, stands as a medium twin-engine helicopter initially developed and manufactured by Aérospatiale. It later became part of Eurocopter during the 1990s. The AS365 Dauphin 2 emerged as a more successful direct derivative of its predecessor, the AS 360 Dauphin, which had faced challenges in market sales. Recognizing the need for a twin-engine rotorcraft that could better meet military and civil requirements, the company initiated the development of a version equipped with a pair of Turbomeca Arriel turboshaft engines. The AS 365 exhibited significantly improved performance in high ambient climates and higher altitudes compared to the previous model. Productions for the successful SA 365 Dauphin are still ongoing.

Red Box is delighted to present an extensive range of ground power and support equipment designed for this aircraft, including tugs, ground power units, start power units and more, perfectly tailored to the requirements of the SA 365 Dauphin aircraft.

This offering includes the 709 tug, the RBPS50 continuous power unit—ideal for diagnostic work, pre-flight checks, or continuously powering equipment during operations without depleting the onboard aircraft batteries. Additionally, the Twin RB75A is available for starting the aircraft, aiding in the prevention of hot starts. Our TC3000 range further provides a combination of start and continuous power in a single unit specifically designed for SA 365 Dauphin aircraft
