Fairchild C-26 Metroliner

The Fairchild C-26 Metroliner (originally Fairchild Swearingen Metroliner) is a name for the twin turboprop aircraft series in service of the United States military. The original Swearingen Metroliner was built in the late 1960s, by gradual modification of pre-exsiting Beechcraft business jets, the Twin Bonanza and Queen Air. The fuselage was extended to accomodate for a more comfortable cabin. The aircraft and its modern variants remain in use in several military roles, as well as regular business jets.

Red Box is pleased to offer a great range of ground power and support equipment for this aircraft, including tugs, ground power units, start power units and more, which are perfectly suited to the requirements of the Fairchild C-26 Metroliner aircraft.

This includes the 717 tug, the RBSC150 continuous power unit, which is ideal for diagnostic work, pre-flight checks or for continuous powering of equipment during operations, without draining the onboard aircraft batteries and the RB75A for starting the aircraft, helping to avoid hot starts. We also offer a combination of start and continuous power in one unit for the Fairchild C-26 Metroliner aircrafts in our TC3000 range.
