Fokker F-27 Friendship

The Fokker F27 Friendship is a turboprop regional airliner developed and manufactured by Fokker. The aircraft was developed in the 1950s, with the intention of replacing the piston-engined airliners that dominated the aviation market at the time, including the Douglas DC-3. After exploring various designs, Fokker finalized the development of the F27 Friendship, incorporating more advanced Rolls-Royce Dart powerplants and a pressurized cabin to enhance the travel experience for passengers. The Fokker F27 achieved success in the market after its introduction in 1958 and remains one of the most successful European airliners of its era.

Red Box is delighted to offer an extensive range of ground power and support equipment for this aircraft, including tugs, ground power units, start power units and more, perfectly suited to the requirements of the Fokker F27 Friendship aircraft.

This includes the 757 tug, the RBSC300 continuous power unit, which is ideal for diagnostic work, pre-flight checks, or continuous powering of equipment during operations without draining the onboard aircraft batteries. We also offer a combination of start and continuous power in one unit for the Fokker F27 Friendship aircraft in our TC3000 range.
